Steinbrenners Got What They Deserved

Hank, Hal, and George all got what they deserved this playoffs as the Yankees are fishing and Joe Torre's Dodgers are fishing for a National League Pennant. The Yankees were disgusting last winter towards their manager of 12 seasons. They offered him a contract that they knew he would not accept and he did just that, did not accept it, and left the Yankees and headed west to LA to manage the Dodgers. Well Hank, buddy boy, the Yankees finished in third place and the Dodgers are now fighting for a World Series birth. And don't give me this BS that the NL West is so much weaker than the AL East because more often then not, the division you play in does not matter when the playoffs come around. The playoffs are a new season and they are all about who gets hot at the right time. With that said, Joe Torre has done another phenomenal job with a team that was struggling mightily early on and has once again gone to the playoffs. Serves the Steinbrenners right because Joe Torre just shoved it right up your ass. Just shows you that the right manager can go a long way, I guess Joe Torre was taken for granted here in New York. This definitely makes you wonder what he could have done with this years Yankees team, but we will never know. So here's to Joe Torre, Don Mattingly and Larry Bowa, let's win a World Championship.
